This journey hasn’t always been easy, but our dog Charlie has kept us smiling through it all.

Our interest in wine began when we participated in one of the many wine trail events offered in Ohio. What fun it was going from winery to winery, tasting amazing wines and meeting friendly people. We fell in love with wine that day. The whole experience sparked a passion in us for wine and it set us on this path to opening our own winery.

Our family would say we became obsessed with wine. We would go to wineries whenever possible, not only in Ohio but in other states and even on vacations. The more wineries we visited and the more wine we tasted, the more we wanted to learn about wine. We took classes, read whatever we could about it and started making wine at home. 

One day, while enjoying a glass of wine at one of our favorite local wineries, we started to discuss sharing our enthusiasm for wine and opening our own winery. We wanted to create a place where people could discover great wines, share them with others, have fun, relax, and enjoy the experience. 

This journey hasn’t always been easy, but our dog Charlie has kept us smiling through it all. By working together, along with help from family and friends, we have been able to turn our passion for wine into Rosabella Winery.
